Wilbur is a charming little terrier cross, around 10 years old, currently in foster care in the UK and looking for his forever home.
This sweet boy has already settled beautifully into home life. He is housetrained, sleeps quietly through the night, walks nicely on lead, and loves nothing more than pottering around the garden, playing with his toys, or curling up beside you for a cuddle at the end of the day.
Wilbur is affectionate, friendly, and full of character. He enjoys his walks, loves his food, and still has plenty of life and playfulness despite being a senior. He greets other dogs politely and is an easy little companion to have around.
Sadly, through no fault of his own, the resident dog in his foster home has not accepted him, which means Wilbur now needs a new place where he can properly settle and enjoy the calm, loving retirement he deserves.
Senior dogs like Wilbur are often overlooked, but they truly are some of rescue’s hidden gems. He is not a complicated dog or a “project” — he already knows how to live in a home and how to love. He simply needs someone willing to give him that chance permanently.
Wilbur is in excellent health and ready to find a family to call his own.
