Volcán is a big boy, but calm and full of love

At the shelter, we sadly see many large dogs like Volcán being abandoned — especially shepherd and mastiff types. They are often overlooked when it comes to finding homes, despite having so much to offer.

Volcán is a wonderful example of just how special these gentle giants can be. Around 5 years old, he is calm, affectionate, and absolutely adores people. He has a relaxed nature and behaves beautifully, making him an easy companion.

Described as a true “teddy bear,” Volcán is all about love, quiet moments, and human connection.

He is currently waiting in Lugo, Spain, hoping for someone to see past his size and into his kind heart.
