At around 9 years old and 20kg, Santos was dumped by a hunter, likely because he was no longer considered useful. Sadly, this happens far too often to older hunting dogs. But despite everything, Santos has remained incredibly gentle with people and lovely with other dogs. There is still so much warmth, trust, and kindness in him.

He deserves so much more than being abandoned at this stage of his life.

Santos is the kind of dog who simply wants peace, comfort, affection, and someone who will finally treat him like family. After everything he has been through, we would love to see him spend his next chapter sleeping safely indoors, enjoying gentle walks, soft beds, and the security of being loved.
He’s also in good health and walks beautifully on the lead, making him a wonderful companion for calm strolls and everyday life.

He has been cat-tested and can also be child-tested if needed.
