Meet Ringo
Ringo is a handsome 3–4-year-old male Griffon Bleu de Gascogne who has recently arrived in our care from one of the pounds we work closely with in Spain.

His previous owner, an elderly hunter, made the difficult decision to surrender him when he could no longer care for him. According to his owner, Ringo is an experienced and enthusiastic hunting dog with a strong prey drive and a wonderful, deep hound voice.

Because of this, Ringo will need an experienced home that understands scent hounds. A large, securely fenced garden is essential, as his instinct to follow scents is very strong. He is not suited to life in a flat or to being exercised off lead in unfenced areas.

Despite his hunting background, Ringo is a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys human company. He travels well in the car and has a gentle, sociable nature with people.

Ringo’s veterinary work is currently underway. His vaccination status and medical information will be updated soon. Before travelling, he will be fully prepared with an EU passport and will be eligible to travel to homes across Europe and the UK.
