Frequently Asked Questions
Is adopting a rescue dog more difficult than buying a puppy?
No. While every dog is different, many rescue dogs settle into family life quickly. Our dogs are carefully assessed, supported, and matched to the right home to ensure a smooth transition.
Do rescue dogs have behavioural problems?
Not necessarily. Many of our dogs are gentle, calm, and well-socialised. Any known needs or quirks are shared openly, and we support adopters before and after adoption.
How old are the dogs available for adoption?
We rescue dogs of all ages — from young adults to seniors. Older dogs often make wonderful companions: they’re calmer, grateful, and already past the puppy phase.
Can I adopt if I’ve never had a dog before?
Absolutely. First-time dog owners are very welcome. We take time to guide you, answer questions, and help you find a dog that fits your lifestyle and experience.
What support do you offer after adoption?
We stay in touch and are always available for advice. Adopting a rescue means joining a community — you’re not on your own.
