When Arthur first arrived in rescue, the world must have felt like a frightening place.
Blind, uncertain, and dependent on the kindness of strangers, this gentle setter had every reason to be afraid. But in January 2026, everything changed when Lisa and Tess opened their hearts and home to him. And just look at him now.
This is Arthur today — running freely through the garden, playing joyfully with his new canine companions, and embracing life with a confidence that once seemed impossible. Blindness does not define Arthur. It does not slow him down.
And it certainly does not stop him from being a happy dog.
Watching him navigate the garden so fearlessly is a beautiful reminder of how incredibly adaptable dogs are when they are given love, patience, and the chance to feel safe.
Arthur may not see the world around him, but he feels it — in the grass beneath his paws, in the familiar voices calling his name, and in the love that now surrounds him every single day.
From forgotten to flourishing.
This is life after rescue. ❤️
