Life After Rescue shares the everyday moments, big milestones, and quiet joys that unfold once our hounds find their forever families. Real stories, real homes, real second chances. This is the story of Arthur and a message from his adopters, Tess & Lisa.
We have only had Arthur for 4 weeks. He arrived terribly underweight, and obviously had never lived in a house before, and in that short time, he has blossomed so much.
He has gone from being a written off and unwanted, elderly, painfully thin Spanish hunting dog with Cataracts. To a waggy, happy, sweet-natured boy who loves the simple things in life ….love, a warm bed, his dinner and a run through the fields.
Don’t let a dog’s past or age define its future. This outdoor hunting dog now lives with a house full of cats and chickens, is house-trained, has learnt to walk on a lead at the age of 10, and gets to live out his well-deserved retirement surrounded by warmth, plenty of food and most importantly LOVE.
